Clark McMeekin Gaudy's Ladies 1948 HC Fair Vintage, no jacket - As Is - 8”h x 5.5”w x 1”d
Vintage hardcover copy of *Gaudy's Ladies* by Clark McMeekin, published by Appleton-Century-Crofts in 1948. Tan/cream clothbound edition with blue spine and cover lettering/design.
Condition is fair and priced accordingly. No dust jacket is present. The book shows noticeable wear at the top and bottom of the spine, including fraying and chipping, plus rubbing, scuffs, light soiling, and bumped corners. Pages have age toning, but the binding appears intact from the photos and the pages shown look complete, with page 297 visible near the end. I can’t fully verify hinge/joint tightness from photos alone, and I don’t see clear library markings or an author inscription.
A solid vintage shelf copy for readers, decorators, or collectors of mid-century fiction who don’t need a jacketed copy. Includes the hardcover book shown in the photos only.
If you’ve been looking for an affordable 1948 McMeekin copy, send a message and grab it before it’s gone.
