Caithness Scotland Art Glass Bud Vase Fair Condition, Rim Chip - As Is - 4.5”h x 2.75”w
Beautiful little Caithness Scotland hand-blown art glass bud vase with a lovely amethyst/lavender color mix, dark plum swirls, and white spatter inclusions. It has a flared rim, narrow waist, and rounded base, so it looks great on a shelf, windowsill, or in a small display with a single stem.
This is a fair-condition piece. The main flaw is a noticeable chip/nick on the rim that’s visible up close, so it’s not a top-shelf collector example. The body appears free of obvious cracks, with light surface wear and minor marks from age and handling. The base has normal shelf wear, and the original Caithness Scotland label is still present, though it shows age and partial lifting. Internal bubbles/inclusions appear to be part of the glassmaking process.
Included: the Caithness Scotland art glass bud vase with original label, as shown.
Nice decorative piece with plenty of character, especially if you love studio glass and don’t mind an honest flaw. Message me if you’d like to pick it up.
