Handmade Studio Art Pottery Bud Vase Signed, Good Vintage Condition - As Is - 5.25”h x 3.5”w
Small studio art pottery bud vase with a lovely earthy look. This appears to be a handmade stoneware or high-fired ceramic piece with a rounded bulb shape, narrow neck, and slightly flared rim. The glaze is a speckled beige-to-brown finish with natural-looking drip/ash-like texture that gives it a warm, organic feel.
Condition is good overall. No obvious major cracks or large chips are visible in the photos. There is noticeable glaze wear and light abrasion around the rim from age and use, along with general light scuffing. The underside shows expected shelf wear, a rough unglazed foot, and some old adhesive or felt remnants. As with many handmade pieces, there are kiln and craft irregularities, and the glaze variation appears original to the piece. The base seems to have an incised signature or maker's mark, but it’s too indistinct to identify confidently from the photos. Interior condition and possible fine hairlines can’t be fully verified from photos alone.
A great little piece for a single stem, shelf display, or adding to a studio pottery collection. Includes the vase shown. Message if you’d like to pick it up.
